A big movement
of visible migration was evident over the peninsular today with the first large
count of Chaffinch of the Autumn, plus a party of Crossbills and a single
Lapland Bunting through. Offshore a Great Northern Diver showed well on the sea
off the point.

west, 28 Common Scoters west, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 1 Great Northern
Diver flew west and landed on the sea off the point, 6 Red-throated Divers
west, 8 Little Gulls, 2 Guillemots west, 7 Razorbills west and 69 Auk sp. west.

before flying off south-east and 1 Lapland Bunting flew west at 0810.
