A Richard's Pipit was found at Rossall School fields this afternoon by Tony Disley who was doing a days birding around the Obs. It was quite flighty but spent an hour feeding between two fields before flying off inland in the direction of Rossall Lane.

16 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Red-throated Diver west, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 1 Guillemot east and 3 Auk sp. east.

Visible Migration
282 Pink-footed Geese south, 1 Kestrel south, 338 Wood Pigeons east, 2 Collared Doves south, 116 Jackdaws south/south-east, 17 Carrion Crows south-east, 12 Skylarks south, 1026 Starlings east, 84 Blackbirds south-east, 93 Fieldfares east, 207 Redwings east, 6 Mistle Thrushes east, 2 Grey Wagtails east, 1 Meadow Pipit south, 9 Bramblings east, 204 Chaffinch east, 32 Greenfinch east, 8 Linnets south,1 Redpoll east, 32 Goldfinch east and 11 Siskins east.

4 Goldcrests, 1 Chiffchaff, 35 Blackbirds, 11 Fieldfares, 2 Song Thrushes, 60 Redwings and 1 Richard's Pipit.
