It felt a bit more like spring today with the first Sandwich Terns and Swallow recorded, two flocks of  Whooper Swans and a 3CY Glaucous Gull new in.

Offshore
38 Whooper Swans on the sea in the early afternoon, 4 Shelducks east, 215 Eiders, 34 common Scoters west, 11 Red-breasted Mergansers, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 1 Auk sp. east and 2 Sandwich Terns east.

Visible Migration 
52 Whooper Swans north, 14 Wood Pigeons east, 2 Jackdaws north-east, 1 Swallow north, 21 Alba Wagtails north, 291 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 4 Linnets east, 5 Goldfinch east, 1 Siskin east and 1 Reed Bunting east.

Grounded Migrants
8 Goldcrests, 2 Chiffchaffs, 8 Blackbirds, 2 Redwings, 4 Robins and 5 Wheatears.
 
 Wheatear

Others
42 Wigeons, 1 Gadwall, 3 Shovelers, 5 Goldeneyes, 6 Little Egrets, 1 Water Rail, 14 Ringed Plovers, 23 Grey Plovers, 65 Black-tailed Godwits, 180 Knots, 63 Sanderlings, 1 Spotted Redshank, 550 Redshanks and 1 3CY Glaucous Gull.
