A Red Kite flew west along the promenade this morning and is only the 3rd Obs record. During the afternoon the first Yellow-browed Warbler of the autumn was found. An elusive bird due to the windy conditions, it favoured a sheltered area near the duck pond.

3 Shelducks east, 34 Wigeons west, 5 Teal west, 28 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Crested Grebe west and 2 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
500 Pink-footed Geese north, 1 Red Kite west, 5 Skylarks south, 21 Starlings east, 3 Song Thrushes south-east, 3 Redwings east, 2 Grey Wagtails south, 9 Alba Wagtails south, 16 Meadow Pipits south, 1 Rock Pipit east, 6 Bramblings east, 142 Chaffinch east, 3 Greenfinch east, 11 Goldfinch south, 2 Siskins east and 2 Reed Buntings east.

Grounded Migrants 
7 Goldcrests, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, 5 Song Thrushes, 11 Redwings and 1 Wheatear.

170 Wigeons, 110 Teal, 4 Shovelers, 7 Little Egrets, 29 Ringed Plovers, 16 Golden Plovers, 420 Lapwings, 58 Turnstones, 37 Sanderlings, 500 Redshanks, 1 Med. Gull and 100 Goldfinch.
