The first decent 'vis' morning of the spring produced a decent count of 1614 Meadow Pipits, plus a nice selection of other species on the move.

Offshore
4 Shelducks east, 27 Common Scoters west, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 6 Red-throated Divers east, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 3 Auk sp. west and 7 Little Gulls east.

Visible Migration
83 Whooper Swans north, 3 Pink-footed Geese north, 1 Stock Dove east, 134 Wood Pigeons east, 1 Merlin east, 3 Magpies east, 10 Jackdaws east, 2 Rooks east, 45 Carrion Crows north-east, 3 Grey Wagtails north-east, 41 Alba Wagtails north-east, 1614 Meadow Pipits north-east, 5 Chaffinch east, 9 Linnets east, 30 Goldfinch east and 7 Siskins east.

Grounded Migrants 
12 Goldcrests, 5 Chiffchaffs and 3 Wheatears.

5 Goldeneyes, 24 Ringed Plovers, 320 Black-tailed Godwits, 115 Turnstones, 52 Sanderlings, 7 Snipe, 1 Iceland Gull and 1 Glaucous Gull.
