Seawatching from dawn until the rain arrived at 07:30 produced the springs first Pomarine Skua flying into the bay and the heavy band of rain dropped a Wood Sandpiper onto the water meadows.

Offshore
22 Common Scoters east, 4 Manx Shearwaters west, 7 Gannets west, 1 Pomarine Skua east at 05:50, 4 Arctic Skuas east, 38 Sandwich Terns, 2 Common Terns east and 6 Arctic Terns east.

Visible Migration
3 Whimbrels east, 52 Swallows east, 2 House Martins east, 2 Yellow Wagtails east, 3 Alba Wagtails east, 5 Tree Pipits east and 9 Goldfinch east.

Grounded Migrants
1 Wood Sandpiper, 6 Swifts, 150 Swallows, 30 House Martins, 4 Whinchats, 23 Wheatears and 1 White Wagtail.

34 Ringed Plovers, 600 Knots, 400 Dunlins, 4 Whimbrels and 3 Black-tailed Godwits.
