After yesterday`s Roseate Terns today produced an even rarer bird in the form of the observatory`s third record of Great White Egret that was found during the evening. It came off the pools with six Grey Herons and was lost on the saltmarsh.

Offshore
127 Common Scoters east, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 4 Gannets west, 1 Arctic Skua east, 1 Kittiwake east, 6 Sandwich Terns, 2 Common Terns east, 85 Arctic Terns east and 1 Auk sp. east.

Visible Migration 
2 Whimbrels east, 9 Swifts north and 12 Swallows north.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Wheatear.

Others
1 Teal, 1 Great White Egret, 180 Sanderlings and 3 Turnstones.
