South-easterly
winds and rain dropped some migrants onto the peninsula this morning. After a wet
morning "bush bashing" persistence payed
off with the finding of a Turtle Dove just before midday; it was seen well
briefly before flying off east. There were good numbers of
Sedge Warblers and Wheatears, plus two Garganeys were found in the
evening.
