Frustration today with a Yellow-browed Warbler that was heard only. It seemed to be following a rapidly moving party of Long-tailed Tits through thick cover and was heard to call twice but could not be located.

Offshore 
5 Wigeons west, 17 Eiders, 31 Common Scoters west, 2 Red-throated Divers, 1 Great Crested Grebe and 1 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration
1 Short-eared Owl south, 24 Jackdaws south, 2 Blackbirds south-east, 2 Mistle Thrushes south-east, 1 Redwing south, 5 Fieldfares south, 7 Tree Sparrows south-west, 4 Meadow Pipits south, 17 Alba Wagtails south, 1 Grey Wagtail south, 58 Chaffinch east/south-east, 9 Greenfinches east/south-east, 6 Goldfinch east/south-east, 1 Linnet south and 1 Reed Bunting south.

Grounded Migrants 
10 Goldcrests, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler heard only, 2 Chiffchaffs, 21 Blackbirds, 3 Fieldfares, 7 Song Thrushes, 30 Redwings, 1 new Stonechat and 2 Wheatears.

230 Teal, 1 Goldeneye, 42 Ringed Plovers, 260 Sanderlings, 10 Snipe, 375 Turnstones, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Stonechat, 5 Rock Pipits and 120 Goldfinch.
