Despite the murky conditions at first light the morning developed into a good morning for vis with the first Brambling and Redwing for the autumn for the obs recorded.
 
Offshore
4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 16 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-throated Diver west and 1 Great Crested Grebe.

Visible Migration
5 Whooper Swans south, 805 Pink-footed Geese south, 5 Buzzards south, 2 Sparrowhawks south, 2 Kestrel south, 1 Golden Plover south, 34 Carrion Crows south, 84 Jackdaws south, 3 Rooks south, 2 Jays west, 6 Redwings south, 1 Song Thrush south, 91 Swallows south, 27 Skylarks south, 8 Grey Wagtails south, 65 Alba Wagtails south, 2 Rock Pipits west, 475 Meadow Pipits south, 4 Coal Tits south, 69 Chaffinch south, 2 Bramblings south, 159 Greenfinch south, 13 Siskins south, 69 Goldfinch south, 11 Linnets south, 14 Redpolls south and 5 Reed Buntings south.

Pink-footed Geese

Grounded Migrants 
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Jay, 5 Song Thrush, 3 Redwings, 2 Chiffchaffs, 1 Blackcap, 6 long-tailed Tits and 8 Goldcrests.

Others 
1 Little Egret, 1 Peregrine, 1 Merlin and 2 Barn Owls.

Ringing
3 Robins, 1 Wren, 2 Song Thrush, 3 Blackbirds, 1 Goldcrest, 3 Chaffinch, 47 Greenfinch, 1 male Sparrowhawk, 10 Meadow Pipits, 2 Blue Tits, 1 Great Tit and 3 Lesser Redpolls.
