There were a few grounded migrants around first thing including a flock of 17 Tree Sparrows and a single Snow Bunting. The 17 Tree Sparrows is the largest grounded flock to be recorded at the Obs.

The mornings walk saw a trickle of 'vis' but little grounded in gusty SSE winds, but interestingly the same walk during the late afternoon in glorious calm and sunny conditions produced the spring's first Wheatear and 10 Stonechats!

The overnight weather looked good to drop something in, at this time of the year it's usually Stonechats, and it didn`t disappoint as a total of 21 new Stonechats were found around the peninsula during the day.
