After a slow start to the day the murk cleared about 9am, the sun came out and it warmed up. This produced a push of birds moving south, the highlight`s being a late Swift and the Autumns first Merlin.

An Osprey which appeared out of the murk and flew south this morning and a single Purple Sandpiper amongst the high tide roost were today`s highlights.
