Good sea-watching conditions produced the first Pomarine Skuas today with a
flock of eight observed this evening. The birds came in high and started circling
for a few minutes, gaining height before being lost as they headed north-east
further into the bay. Also swallows were on the move for much of the day with
574 being counted heading north.

bay high then started circling and gaining height to
the north-east before being lost as dots!, 6 Arctic Skuas east, 32 Kittiwakes
east, 67 Sandwich Terns east, 8 Common Terns east and 109
Arctic Terns east.
