1 Merlin east, 11 Sand Martins north-east, 52 Swallows north-east, 1 House Martin north-east, 1 Yellow Wagtail east - the first this spring, 5 Alba Wagtails north, 64 Meadow Pipits north, 92 Goldfinch west, 2 Siskins east and 24 Linnets east.

Grounded Migrants 

1 Chifchaff, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Wheatears and 1 White Wagtail.

Offshore

21 Common Scoters west, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 31 Red-throated Divers east, 1 Fulmar east, 3 Gannets west & 2 east, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 13 Kittiwakes west, 2 Sandwich Terns and 1 Auk sp. east.

Further observation during teh evening produced 35 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-throated Diver east, 2 Manx Shearwaters west - the first of the spring, 8 Gannets west, 3 Kittiwakes west and 12 Sandwich Terns east.

Visible Migration 

1 Sand Martin north-east, 7 Swallows north, 3 Meadow Pipits north and 3 Goldfinch east.

Grounded Migrants

2 Willow Warblers, 3 Wheatears and 10 White Wagtails.

Visible Migration

1 Whimbrel west - the first of the spring, 5 Swallows north, 2 Alba Wagtails north, 18 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Hooded Crow northeast (landed briefly on the shore), 6 Linnets north/northeast and 47 Goldfinch west.

Grounded Migrants

1 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Swallows, 2 Wheatears and 13 White Wagtails.

There was a decent movement of Meadow Pipits first thing this morning with 702 moving north. The first Tree Pipits of the year were recorded and a fine male Redstart added a splash of colour to the day.

1 Buzzard north-east, 9 Curlews east, 51 Woodpigeons east, 9 Carrion Crows north, 4 Sand Martins north-east, 10 Swallows north, 11 Alba Wagtails north, 2 Tree Pipits north, 702 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 77 Goldfinch east, 3 Siskins east, 70 Linnets east, 12 Redpolls east and 1 Reed Bunting east.

1 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 1 Wheatear, 5 White Wagtails and 3 Siskins.
